UAE residents rate quality of content top of the list for video sharing criteria

When it comes to sharing videos on your smartphone, UAE residents aren’t influenced by celebrities. A new report reveals more than half of UAE consumers rate the quality of the video as being more important than the celebrity appeal of the content. The report, by Vuclip, went on to state that videos are more commonly shared on Twitter in the Emirates, rather than on Facebook or WhatsApp which dominates other countries. The findings support a study by the Interactive Advertising Bureau earlier this year which found 75% of smart phone users share the videos they watch on their device.
