UAE residents urged to take part in moment of silence on Martyrs' Day

The Martyr’s Families’ Affairs Office (MFAO) is calling on UAE residents to participate in a moment of silence on Martyrs' Day. According to national news agency WAM, the MFAO has urged nationals and expats to observe a moment of silence and prayer at 11:30 am on the November 30, in an effort to honour martyrs and express solidarity with their families. The UAE flag will be flown at half-mast across the country from 8:30 am until 11:30 am followed by the silent prayer.
