UAE responds to incoming missile, drone threats from Iran

The UAE's air defence systems announced it is continuing to intercept incoming missile and drone threats from Iran on Wednesday.

Authorities advised the public to stay in a safe location and follow official channels for warnings and updates.

The Ministry of Defence added that the sounds heard were of air defence interception operations.

Authorities in Dubai later confirmed that the sounds heard across parts of the city were the result of successful air defence interception operations and to rely on official sources for updates.
