UAE starts issuing tourist visas to Israeli citizens

WAM

The UAE has started issuing tourist visas to Israeli citizens, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation announced on Thursday.

The visas will be issued through airlines and travel agencies.

Authorities said the temporary arrangement has been put in place until the process for visa-free travel comes into force.

The move falls within the framework of the Abraham Peace Accords signed earlier this year between the two countries.
