Under the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE is sending humanitarian aid to people affected by the ongoing crisis in Lebanon through the UAE Aid Agency.

The assistance includes food and other essential relief supplies, which will be delivered in coordination with Lebanon's Higher Relief Council to help meet urgent needs and support early recovery efforts.

Chairman of the UAE Aid Agency, Tareq Ahmed Al Ameri, said the UAE remains committed to providing rapid humanitarian assistance to communities affected by crises, ensuring access to essentials such as food, medicine, clothing and shelter.

Lebanon's Ambassador to the UAE, Tariq Hassan Munaymina, thanked the UAE's leadership, government and people for their continued support, praising the country's efforts to help Lebanon through its current challenges.

The UAE has maintained its humanitarian and development assistance to Lebanon over the years, including through the 'UAE Stands with Lebanon' campaign.
