UAE students receive GCSE results

Celebrations are taking place across the UAE as thousands of students across the country have received their GCSE results.

The qualifications have been overhauled in recent years, leading many experts to claim that they're harder than ever before.

Maryssa O'Connor, Principal of GEMS Wellington International, told ARN News her thoughts on the new system.

One of her pupils, Taejas Venkataraman, who excelled with 9s in the sciences and maths, says the new system suited him.
