The UAE Embassy in Kathmandu has launched a relief project for those affected by the recent floods in Nepal.

As many as 500 food baskets are being distributed in the districts of Sarlahi, Rautahat and Bara.

The project is being implemented in partnership with Sharjah Charity International and with the support of a number of Nepalese MPs.

It's mainly focused on remote areas that have not received enough aid from other government and international organisations.
