Valet parking services are now allowed to resume in Abu Dhabi under a strict set of health and safety protocols.
These include mandatory COVID-19 tests for workers, regular temperature checks as well as the use of disposable seat and steering covers during service.
Staff are required to wear face masks and gloves at all times and change them at regular intervals, while a two-metre distance has to be maintained with customers.
Hand sanitizers have to be placed at all major touchpoints, while companies must also train their employees about the preventative measures against COVID-19.
The guidelines have been announced by the Department of Economic Development, which has also called on customers to use e-payment methods as much as possible.
