Video: 3 injured rescued after horrific desert car crash

Three people have been airlifted to safety after they sustained severe injuries in a desert car crash in Abu Dhabi's Al Dhafra region.

Rescue services were pressed into action after the control room received an alert about their critical condition on Saturday.

The medical evacuation was carried out by teams from the National Search and Rescue Center and Abu Dhabi Police.

The injured have been moved to Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City and Ghayathi Hospital for further treatment.
