A video of an Etihad Airways A380 aircraft landing while battling heavy crosswinds at Heathrow Airport has gone viral.
The jet battled strong winds caused by Storm Dennis and ended up landing sideways.
"Weather conditions at London Heathrow during the recent storm event, Dennis, caused some very challenging conditions for all pilots," an Etihad spokesperson said in a statement.
"A combination of very sophisticated aircraft technologies and pilot training allow aircraft to operate in conditions that they couldn’t 20 years ago."
