World’s heaviest gold ring to go on display in Sharjah

If you’re fond of gold jewellery, then you must watch out for this. The world’s heaviest gold ring will go on display in Sharjah next month. The 'Najmat Taiba' or 'Star of Taiba' weighs more than 58kg and is decorated with over 5kg of Swarovski stones. It will be shown at the Expo Centre Sharjah as part of the 39th MidEast Watch & Jewellery from October 6 to 10. The ring was created in the year 2000 by 55 workers from Saudi Arabia.
