Zero COVID-19 cases recorded in Al Ras and Naif areas

Dubai Media Office

Al Ras and Naif areas in Dubai have recorded zero cases of COVID-19 in the last two days.

That's according to the Dubai Media Office, which revealed in a tweet that the emirate's Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management will ease restrictions on movement in both areas.

This comes after additional restrictions were announced and more than 6,000 tests were conducted in less than a month on residents living in the areas.

The Dubai Media Office has also confirmed that this was achieved due to the combined efforts of all teams involved in the national disinfection programme.

Traffic will be restricted in both Naif and Al Ras between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am, which are the same timings applied to the rest of the emirate.

Earlier, residents were applauded for complying with the COVID-19 restrictions implemented.
