The New York Mets have swept the Chicago Cubs to advance to the World Series. Daniel Murphy homered for a record sixth straight postseason game, as the Mets slugged their way to an 8-3 win in game four. It’s the first time in 15 years that the Mets have made the World Series, where they’ll face either the Kansas City Royals or Toronto Blue Jays. The Blue Jays cut the deficit in their series to 3-2, after hammering the Royals 7-1 last night.
