Dubai's bodybuilders have the chance to qualify for Mr. Olympia via the Dubai Pro Bodybuilding Championship.
Over 700 amateur and professional athletes will compete for Mr. Olympia qualification along with prizes worth $90,000 (AED 330,500).
Speaking to the media, Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of Dubai Sports Council, highlighted how the Dubai Pro Bodybuilding Championship occupies "eminent status" not only in Dubai’s annual sports agenda, but in the world bodybuilding field as well.
He added that it qualifies Arabian athletes to the Mr. Olympia event, which will be held November 2-5 at Orlando city in Florida.
The winner in the Dubai Pro Bodybuilding Championship – amateurs’ category - will win the title of the Champion of Champions and gain professional player’s card to Mr. Olympia.
