Andre Gomes is expected to make a full recovery after undergoing a successful ankle surgery.
The Everton midfielder suffered a horrific fracture-dislocation to his right ankle during his side's match against Tottenham on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Tottenham have appealed against the red card that Son Heung-min received for the tackle which caused the injury.
They say the Korean international had no intention of injuring Gomes.
Son was visibly distraught after the tackle, and was led off the pitch in tears.
