India, Australia renew rivalry in ODI series

The five-match One-Day International series between Australia and India has started in Perth. The visitors, led by M.S. Dhoni, have won the toss and elected to bat, despite the overcast conditions. Australia have named fast bowlers Joel Paris and Scott Boland for their international debuts, while left-arm paceman Barinder Sran makes his first outing for India. It’s the first clash between the two sides since Australia knocked India out of the 2015 World Cup during their semi-final encounter.
