India thrashed Pakistan by seven wickets in a one-sided World Cup clash between the arch-rivals at a heaving Narendra Modi Stadium on Saturday.
Put in to bat by the hosts, Pakistan were bundled out for 191 in 42.5 overs.
Pakistan were on 155-2 in the 30th over and appeared to be cruising towards a 300-plus total with skipper Babar Azam (50) and in-form batter Mohammad Rizwan (49) at the crease.
But India's Mohammed Siraj then dismissed Babar, triggering a spectacular collapse, with Pakistan unable to hold out for the rest of their quota of 50 overs.
India coasted home to their target with 117 balls to spare.
Skipper Rohit Sharma top scored for the hosts with 86 off 63 balls, a blistering innings featuring six fours and six sixes, while Shreyas Iyer hit an undefeated 53.
India also joined 2019 runners-up New Zealand as the only two teams to win their first three matches in the tournament so far.
