After being sent in to bat first, a 107-run opening partnership between David Warner and Wriddhiman Saha helped set the momentum going for the Sunrisers.

They posted 219 for 2. David Warner scored 66 off 34 balls while Saha was the top-scorer with 87 runs off 45 deliveries. Manish Pandey posted 44 and Kane Williamson stood at 11.
