India opened their Asia Cup 2025 campaign in dominant fashion, defeating the UAE by nine wickets in a one-sided contest in Dubai.

The hosts, UAE, were bowled out for just 57 runs, as spinner Kuldeep Yadav led the charge with four wickets and Shivam Dube took three.

India made quick work of the chase, reaching the target in just 4.3 overs to seal a big win in Group A, which also includes Pakistan and Oman.

Suryakumar Yadav’s side now top the group with a huge net run rate boost heading into their next fixtures.
