NBA stars set to light up Abu Dhabi this October

There is big news for basketball fans as the NBA is returning to Abu Dhabi this October.

The New York Knicks and the Philadelphia 76ers will face off in two preseason games at Etihad Arena on Yas Island, scheduled for October 2 and 4.

Fans can expect to see stars like Joel Embiid, Paul George, Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, Mikal Bridges and Tyrese Maxey take the court.

Many of these players have previously played in Abu Dhabi during Team USA and NBA events.

The NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2025 presented by ADQ are part of a multi-year partnership between the National Basketball Association and Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism.

It includes youth programmes, fan events and special appearances by NBA and WNBA players.

Tickets are not on sale yet, but fans can register online for updates.
