The talented player has agreed to a five-year contract at St James' Park, making him the first signing for Newcastle in the summer transfer window.

Eddie Howe, the manager of Newcastle, expressed his excitement over Tonali's arrival, calling the midfielder an exceptional talent and highlighting the attributes that make him a perfect fit for the team. At 23 years, he already boasts significant experience as a key player in one of Europe's top leagues and the Champions League, not to mention his international appearances for his home country.

Speaking about the transfer, Howe said, "He is an exceptional talent and has the mentality, physicality and technical skills to be a great fit for us. But he also has the opportunity and potential to grow and evolve with us, and I'm excited to add him to our squad as we approach the exciting season ahead."
