Leicester have moved five points clear at the top of the Premier League after beating Watford 1-0 thanks to Riyad Mahrez’ 15th goal of the season. Elsewhere, fellow title rivals Arsenal rescued a point in the London derby as they drew 2-2 with Tottenham Manchester City thumped basement boys Aston Villa 4-0 at the Etihad Stadium. Newcastle United face a relegation battle after losing 3-1 at home to Bournemouth. West Ham pulled off an impressive comeback to beat 10-man Everton 3-2. Stoke scored a late equaliser to give them a point at Chelsea. Gylfi Sigurdsson gave Swansea all three points as they beat Norwich 1-0. And Sunderland were denied a win at Southampton after Virgil van Dijk scored a stoppage-time equaliser.
