Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has suffered his first Premier League defeat since being appointed as the interim manager of Manchester United.

His side went down 2-0 to Arsenal at Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

Granit Xhaka scored in the 12th minute before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang doubled the hosts' lead with a perfectly taken penalty in the 69th minute.

The result sees the Gunners surpass past the Red Devils to move into the top four in the points table.

Earlier on Sunday Liverpool beat Burnley 4-2 to get to within a point of league leaders Manchester City.

Meanwhile, Chelsea rescued a point thanks to Eden Hazard scoring a stoppage-time equaliser against Wolves at Stamford Bridge
