Tennis World Tour Finals: Murray & Nadal start with wins

NULL

Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal joined Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer in getting off to winning starts at the ATP World Tour Finals in London. Home favourite Murray overcame David Ferrer, who struggled to reach his usual level, making just 47% of first serves, as he went down 6-4 6-4. Meanwhile, Nadal thrashed the French Open champion, Stanislas Wawrinka, who, like Ferrer, also failed to play at his usual standard. That came despite the Swiss breaking to love in the first game. However, the Spaniard, who's form has been slowly improving after a tough time with injuries, immediately broke back before winning 9 of the last 11 games on his way to a 6-3 6-2 victory. This evening's action sees Kei Nishikori face Tomas Berdych (18:00 UAE time), whilst world number one Djokovic takes on world number two Roger Federer (midnight).
