The UAE defeated Kuwait in their third round match to secure the lead position in the Ice Hockey World Cup Qualifiers in Abu Dhabi.
The UAE team leads with nine points, winning the maximum number of points in three games, followed by Kyrgyzstan and Hong Kong with six points each.
Mohamed Al Kaabi was judged the "Best Emirati Player", while Ahmed Al Ajami was picked as the "Best Kuwaiti Player".
The Emirati team will play Kyrgyzstan in its next match, and the winner will qualify for the World Cup.
