Bowling first, Darren Sammy’s men restricted Sri Lanka to 122-9, with only Thisara Perera, who scored 40 off 29 balls, offering any resistance. In response, the Indies eased to their target with 12 balls remaining, with Andre Fletcher, who opened the batting in place of the injured Chris Gayle, hitting an unbeaten 84 off 64 balls.
