Sharjah City Municipality has announced the temporary closure of all public parks and medical fitness centres to ensure the safety of visitors and staff due to the current unstable weather conditions.

The United Arab Emirates air defences are responding to missile and drone threats, according to statements from the Ministry of Defence (MOD) and the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) on Monday morning.

Authorities in Dubai have issued safety guidelines as unstable weather is forecast across the emirate from Monday, March 23 through Friday, March 27.
