Couple receives AED 68 million electricity bill

A couple living in Northern India have received a hardly believable electricity bill.

They claim they were billed a whopping AED 68 million for a month's worth of electricity usage.

According to the duo, their usual bill doesn't exceed AED 45.

The state's electricity department says that it's likely the exorbitant charges may have come from an error that they say will be rectified.

However the couple will have to stay without power in the meantime.
