Driver alert: Watch out for these road closures in Dubai

As Dubai hosts Ironman 70.3 2021 Triathlon Championship on Friday, a number of roads will be temporarily closed.

Taking to their official Twitter handle, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has mapped out alternate routes for motorists as Jumeirah Road, Umm Suqueim Street and Al Qudra Road will be temporarily closed.

Drivers can take Al Wasl Road, Latifa Bint Hamdan Street, Al Meydan Road, Dubai-Al Ain Road or Lehbab Road to avoid delays.

The rolling road closures will remain in place until 1:50 pm.
