That’s the word from the human resources consultancy Mercer, which says firms need to put these measures in place if they want expat-employees to extend their stay. The UAE is an attractive long-term career destination for expats, but the new report shows this trend is not being matched with offers of enhanced end-of-service benefits. Mercer says well-designed retirement packages could help companies benefit from increased employee engagement and loyalty.
