Sharjah Police seize over 1,800 e-scooters, bikes for breaking rules

As many as 1,863 e-scooters, motorbikes and bicycles were confiscated in Sharjah during the first quarter of this year.

Sharjah Police seized the vehicles for violating safety norms.

Most of the violations were linked to riding in non-designated areas and not wearing protective gear like helmets and reflective clothing.

The inspections were carried out in different areas of the emirate in cooperation with the Sharjah Municipality.
