Etihad Airways and flydubai have cancelled more flights between the UAE and several cities in Saudi Arabia following the airport attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on Saturday.
In a statement on its website, Etihad Airways said flights between Abu Dhabi and Dammam, Jeddah and Riyadh, from October 11-13 have been cancelled due to "regional disruption".
Saudi Arabia's civil aviation authority said on Sunday morning that an attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on Saturday has killed 12 people and left 309 others injured.

Meanwhile, in a statement shared with ARN News, flydubai said flights to Riyadh and Abha have been cancelled up to and including October 14.
Both UAE carriers continue to monitor the situation, with passengers recommended to check the airlines' official website for any updates on their flight status.
